Version history

Compare two versions of your site to see exactly what changed, then roll back to an earlier one.

History is finer-grained than backups. Where a backup is a deliberate snapshot, history tracks versions as the site changes, so you can see what changed and when.

  1. Open the History tab#

    From your site page, open History. Versions are listed newest first.

  2. Compare two versions#

    Pick two and compare them to see what actually changed between them.

  3. Restore one#

    Restoring makes an earlier version current again.

History or backups?

History is for "what changed and can I undo it". Backups are for "put everything back to Tuesday". Use history for edits, backups before risky operations.
