Your password and email verification

Change your password, and get a new verification email if the first one never arrived or expired.

If you signed up with an email address you have a password. If you signed up with Google or GitHub you may not, and you do not need one.

Changing your password#

  1. Open your security settings#

Passwords are in the security section of your account.

  2. Enter your current password, then the new one#

Your current password is required, which is what stops someone using an unattended browser to lock you out.

If you have forgotten it#

Password reset works by email, and Sitebefy cannot currently send email, so a reset request will not reach you. If you are locked out, write to us at chidang@flexa.vn and we will sort it out by hand.

Email verification#

Verification exists in Sitebefy but nothing depends on it today: an unverified account can do everything a verified one can. No verification message will arrive either, because outbound email is not currently working, so there is nothing to wait for and nothing to chase.

Keep your password somewhere safe

With no outbound email there is no self-service password reset. A password manager, or signing in with Google or GitHub, avoids the problem entirely.
