About Sitebefy

Most small businesses do not need a bespoke website. They need a good one, quickly, that they can keep editing afterwards. Sitebefy exists for that case: you pick a template, tell us what your business does, and a real WordPress site is provisioned with the content already written.

What you actually get#

A WordPress installation of your own, not a page on someone else's platform. That distinction matters more than it sounds: it is the difference between renting a storefront and being a tenant in a shopping centre that can change its rules.

  • A WordPress container provisioned for you, usually within minutes of signing up.
  • Its own subdomain with a wildcard SSL certificate, or your own domain when you are ready to connect one.
  • Content written by Claude from the details you provide: headlines, service descriptions, an about page, SEO metadata.
  • Automatic backups, kept according to your plan, with off-site copies on the higher tiers.
  • SFTP access and PHP version switching, because at some point you will want to do something we did not anticipate.

Where the AI stops#

Claude writes your first draft. It does not run your website. Everything it produces lands in a normal WordPress installation that you own and edit like any other, with the ordinary editor, the ordinary plugins, and no proprietary layer you have to work around.

We think that is the honest shape for AI in this product. Generation solves the blank page, which is the part people genuinely get stuck on. It does not solve knowing your own business, and we do not pretend otherwise: the draft is a starting point you are expected to correct.

If you leave#

Your sites stay live until the end of the billing period you have paid for, and you can export everything at any time. Paid plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee, and every plan can be trialled for 14 days without a card.

A hosting company that makes leaving difficult is telling you something about how confident it is in the rest of the service. We would rather be judged on whether the sites are good.

Talking to us#

Questions about an existing site or your billing are fastest through the dashboard, where we can see the account in question. Everything else, including press and partnerships, is on the contact page.
