Delete your account

How to close your Sitebefy account, what it takes with it, and the fourteen days you have to change your mind.

Deleting your account closes it and removes your sites with it. There is a window in which you can undo it, and after that window there is not.

This takes your websites with it

Every site on the account goes. Export anything you want to keep from WordPress, and download your backups, before you start.

  1. Save anything you want to keep#

Export your content from WordPress and download whatever else matters. Nothing survives the account.

  2. Open your privacy settings#

Account deletion is in the privacy section, below the data export.

  3. Confirm the deletion#

You will be asked to confirm. The account is then scheduled for deletion rather than removed on the spot.

The fourteen-day window#

Your account is not erased immediately. For fourteen days it is pending deletion, and signing in during that time offers you the chance to cancel and keep everything. That window exists for the person who clicked in anger, or by mistake.

After fourteen days the deletion goes ahead and cannot be reversed by anyone, including us.

Changed your mind?

Sign in before the fourteen days are up and choose to restore. You do not need to contact anyone, and nothing is lost if you do it in time.
