My build failed or is stuck
A build that will not finish, or one that ended in an error. What to check, and what to do about it.
Builds take a few minutes. If yours is taking much longer than that, or ended with an error, work through these in order.
Is it actually stuck?#
The progress percentage comes from the provisioner, not from an animation, so a bar that has not moved for a minute is normal during the slower stages. Give it five minutes before treating it as stuck.
Closing the tab does not stop a build. It runs on Sitebefy's servers. Go back to your dashboard and look at the site's status rather than waiting on the progress screen.
The build failed#
A failed build does not consume your AI request twice: you can start again. Before you do, look at whether anything in your inputs was unusual, particularly a very long description or an image that failed to upload.
It finished but the site looks wrong#
That is not a failed build, and the fix is different: edit the content, or regenerate with a clearer description. See the regeneration document, and take a backup first.
Send us the site name and roughly when you started the build. That is enough for us to find it in the logs.
