After your site is live

Your site is built and reachable. These are the four things worth doing in the first hour.

The build has finished and the site is public on its Sitebefy subdomain. Nothing further is required, but these four things are worth doing while it is fresh.

  1. Open the site and read it#

Click through every page as a visitor would. AI-written content is a strong first draft, not a final one, and the fastest way to find what needs changing is to read it.

  2. Log into WordPress#

Use the admin link and credentials from the build. This is a standard WordPress admin: everything you know about WordPress applies, and every plugin the builder installed is visible there.

  3. Check the contact details#

Confirm the phone number, email and address are exactly as you want them published, and send yourself a message through the contact form to prove it arrives.

  4. Connect your domain, if you have one#

If you own a domain, connect it now rather than later: the sooner the real address is live, the less time anything spends pointing at the subdomain.

Editing: Sitebefy or WordPress?

Both work, and they edit the same site. Sitebefy is quicker for small text changes. WordPress gives you everything else.
